Hande Murat

Hande Murat started her music education in Antalya Atso Anatolian Fine Arts High School. Her main instrument is violin and her minor branch is piano. During her high school education, she attended several solo and orchestra concerts. After she graduated from high school, she started her Bachelor’s degree, which is music education teaching at Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in 2010.

She has completed her violin education with Assistant Professor Elvan Gün Duru and Associate Professor Esra Dalkıran while she completed her piano education with Research Assistant Ozan Demirtaş and Associate Professor Hatice Ekinci. She also took ‘choir conducting and choir education’ lectures from Professor Doctor H. Seval Kose.

Due to studying music teaching, aside from music, she was also trained in pedagogical studies, like psychology, methods of teaching and pre-school education.

Furthermore, she has participated many national and international workshops and concerts during her university years, which are MAE Unı. 2.Classical Music Festival of Young Talents (Pıano Performance), Chamber Orchestra of MAE Uni. Concerts (Concerts in different cities), Choir of MAE Uni 1.Istanbul Polyphonic Choral Festival,Pamukkale Uni. Choral Festival,KKTC 2014 International Choral Festival,St George International Music Festival and Academy Greece.MAE International Piano Educators Training Seminar,St George International Music Festival and Academy Choir Conducting Master Class with Sofia GIOLDASI,Rythem&Music and Dance for Children Seminar T.Ediz Toksoy,Classroom Management Acrsos the Primary Music Curriculum(London).

In 2015 Hande Murat had moved to London and continued her career as freelance violin and piano teacher at the London school of arts. She teaches in both English and Turkish.
