Irene is a violinist and musician specialised in different areas of music. Originally from Spain, she started her music and violin studies at the age of 7, taking piano as her second instrument a few years later. During her childhood and teenage years she won several national and international violin competitions in her home country, where she later graduated from her Violin Performance Bachelor's degree.
During her academic years she had her first contact with Education and Pedagogy. Her growing interest for it led her to continue further studies, graduating from Music Pedagogy in 2011.She has always had a large interest in music, wanting to keep learning and broadening her knowledge. This included her passion for Early Music and Historical Performance – Baroque Violin, fields which she took as her third major degree in 2014 with the teacher Hiro Kurosaki. In 2017, she moved to Germany to take Master Studies in both fields in the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen.
She has been actively teaching since 2009, working in several schools, music academies and participating in summer courses. She moved to London in September 2019, incorporating to the London School of Arts team as a piano and violin teacher.
