Singing Lessons
Singing is the vocal production of musical tones, and we teach students of all ages while focusing on the fundamental principles of singing and proper vocal techniques. The small details make a big difference.
Our lessons are perfect for young learners ages 7+, as well as older students of any level. For total beginners, we follow a structured syllabus developed by our experienced and qualified singing teachers. This curriculum has been proven to work effectively with all learning styles.
If you already have some experience and want to focus on specific songs or styles, we tailor lessons to your needs while ensuring that you continue progressing through essential fundamentals to become a well-rounded musician.
Learning Options & Grade Exams
Students can choose to learn singing for fun or prepare for Grade exams. Our Grade programs are designed for students with 1-2 years of experience who have passed late beginner levels.
Examinations can be a motivating and positive experience when approached correctly. We understand that exams are valuable not only for assessing skill level but also for earning school points. However, exams should not be the sole focus of a musician’s education.
We do not fast-track students through exams at the expense of developing strong musical foundations.
Commitment & Practice
Grade exams require regular practice and strong parental involvement. Parents play a key role in encouraging and monitoring their child's practice at home. A minimum of 20 minutes, four times a week is required, with more practice needed as students advance to higher grades.
At London School of Art, our goal is to help students build confidence, refine their vocal technique, and develop their unique voice, whether for personal enjoyment or professional growth.
